Old Country House
- Bed and Breakfast
Bed and Breakfast - and the time and
space to just ‘be’.
We welcome you here in our 600-year-old family home, and its large and beautiful garden, where you can
enjoy the freedom of walking in the grassland, traditional orchards and ancient woodland of this 220-acre farm - and explore further afield.
This quiet place close to the Malvern Hills is surrounded by good eating-places, gardens, music, theatre and the arts, and the glories of the Herefordshire landscape. You can relax in the big farmhouse kitchen and reception rooms, and enjoy the books, local information, internet access, and good conversation (if required!) which abound here. In the garden the North Border is home to the late Helen Ballard’s hellebores, in flower from January to April; new initiatives in the garden currently include a ‘wet-system’ with indigenous planting.
The whole farm is managed for the benefit of wildlife and landscape and to encourage the understanding of our relationship, - physical, spiritual and creative - with the natural world.
